It all started on a chairlift.
Three friends, one ski trip and a joke that turned into St. Louis's home for pickleball.
"What if we opened a pickleball club?"
Kevin, Tyler and John are riding a chairlift when someone (nobody takes credit) says it out loud. It got a good laugh.
The joke became a plan
Tyler, already fully obsessed with the sport, wouldn't let it go. By the time they reached the bottom, they were serious.
Club 65 was born
Business plans were drafted, the market was researched and a location was found. The rest is history.

Pickleball was invented in 1965 on a backyard badminton court on Bainbridge Island, Washington, designed from day one as a game for everyone. That spirit is exactly what we built this club around.
Our memberships are built on a simple idea: the more you play, the more you get. No nickel-and-diming. No barriers. Just great courts, great people and great games.
